About the KiptonART Foundation

Created in 2009, the KiptonART Foundation facilitates the endowment of visual arts through the support of the KiptonART Rising Program. The Foundation's main goal is to promote the annual Rising Winners by providing stipends for artists to create and sustain their work, all the while raising their profiles to a larger audience.

KiptonART Rising Program Launched on December 6, 2008 during Art Basel Miami in the Setai South Beach, KiptonART Rising is an annual program where winners are selected by a 10 member Curatorial Board.

Over the 12 months following the announcement of the winning artists, KiptonART devotes time, energy and resources to enhance visibility and facilitate introductions into the art world through exhibitions and enhanced visibility online.

In November 2009, the KiptonART Rising 2010 event was held at SAKS Fifth Avenue in New York. On October 5, 2010 the 20 finalists for KiptonART Rising 2011 debuted at the Cohen Design Center D&D Building and the winners for the 2011 Rising Program were announced on October 29, 2010.

The Juror Panel for the 2011 KiptonART Rising Program include: Christopher Eamon, Melanie Flood, Karline Moeller, Keren Moscovitch, Anastasia Rogers, Heidi Lee, Vadis Turner.
